Zack Follett was born on July 3, 1987 and grew up in Clovis, California. In 3 seasons in varsity high school football, Zack Follett racked up 360 tackles, 28 TFL, 13 forced fumbles and seven sacks in his three seasons.
In 2005, Zack Follett was a true freshman who had 36 tackles and played in all games. He earned a Freshman Honors award for his performance.
In 2006, nearly doubled his previous record with recorded 62 tackles: 12.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks. By 2007, Zack Follett earned All-Pac-10 Second Team honors.
