Zach Maynard is entering the 2011 Pac-12 season as the starting quarterback for the Cal Bear’s football team. Maynard steps into the position after battling it out with Allan Bridgford and Brock Mansion. Maynard joined the team in 2010 after transferring from Buffalo Bulls football team.

On his Grimsley High School football team in Greensboro, North Carolina, Zach Maynard led his team to a league title, earned all-area and all-conference area as a senior.

With the Buffalo Bulls, Zach Maynard had a very successful campaign and started 11 of the 12 season games in his sophomore season.
