The Cal Bears football team is well-known for an amazing 5-lateral play in 1982 against Stanford. Who called that play? None other than Will Kapp's father, revered head coach and former football phenom of the Cal Bears, Joe Kapp. The Cal Bears is now home to Will Kapp and the tradition continues.

Will Kapp was born on October 20, 1988 and grew up in Los Gatos, California. He played football on the Los Gatos High School football team and was recognized as senior of the year. He also had the chance to play offensively and defensively and was chosen as the league's top defensive back in 2004.

Will Kapp redshirted his first season with the Cal Bears.
