Born on March 24, 1990, Tyler Rigsbee spent his childhood in Chico, California and attended Pleasant Valley High School.

The Pleasant Valley High School football team depended on Tyler Rigsbee as one of its key offensive line members. As a group, this squad paved the way for a rushing surge that clocked 2,428 yards--all on the ground.

Tyler Rigsbee redshirted in 2008. Perhaps this advice to train and bulk up was offered by his father, Craig, who is well versed in highly competitive leagues. Craig Rigsbee played football at Utah State, as did Tyler's uncle. Today, Craig Rigsbee is the athletic director at Butte College in California, where he formerly coached football.
