TJ Emery. We know the name as offensive lineman for the Cal Bears football squad. But could we see this name in 10 years as a roller coaster designer? Believe it or not, TJ Emery lists roller coaster design as a dream career, and the type of thrills a roller coaster ride can bring are echoed in the adrenaline rush on the gridiron.

TJ Emery was born on October 30, 1988 and grew up in Temecula, California. He played high school ball on the Temecula High School football team and was a starer at left tackle since sophomore year. He was also the captain--twice!

Basketball and track also held important spots in TJ Emery's high school years. He still holds the school records in the shot and discuss and his size and athleticism helped the basketball squad work their way to a DII semifinals berth.

TJ Emery redshirted in 2007 and in 2008 he saw limited playing time. But he'll be back--bigger and stronger than ever next season. Stay tuned to see what this discus-throwing, roller coaster designing, offensive line blocking guy accomplishes in 2009!
