Sean Cattouse, one of the only Midwesterners on the Cal Bears football team, was born October 4, 1988 and grew up in Chicago, Illinois.
As a student and athlete at Hubbard High School, Sean Cattouse experimented as a quarterback and threw for 1,257 yards. As a senior, though, the defensive line was more Sean Cattouse's speed and he earned 36 tackles with 4 interceptions.
Sean Cattouse ventured out of the Midwest to California after graduation in 2007. He worked with the scout team while redshirting his 2007 season.
Sean Cattouse earned playing time when a teammate injured himiself. Cattouse even saw a few starts in 2008 and had an interception and several strong tackles, including five in a single game against the Arizona Cardinals.
