Mike Tepper stands a whopping 6'7" and is a strong guy. He broke his high school weight lifting record in 2003, a record which had stood for 10 years. On the field, he is relatively quick on his feet and can throw his weight around well.
Mike Tepper was born on December 11, 1985 and grew up in Cypress, California. He graduated from Pacifica High School where he primarily played football and lifted weights. On the field, Mike Tepper earned All-CIF, all-county and all-league honors in 2003.
After graduating high school in 2004, Mike Tepper redshirted his first season. In 2005, Mike Tepper was unfortunately hit by a car, broke his fibula and was unable to play for the whole season.
In 2006, Tepper had recovered enough to play. He bounced back and went right to work by starting 2 games and played in all 13. By the end of the season, he tallied 5.5 knockdown blocks.
In 2007, Mike Tepper started all 13 games and is credited with being part of a strong California Bears offensive that allowed for a strong running game.
By 2008, Mike Tepper suffered a pectoral injury. He was granted a 6th year of eligibilty in 2009.
