England ex-pat, Matt Williams, attended Proctor Academy in Andover, New Hampshire, where he earned an all-Evergreen League selection as a tight end. His outstanding performance would lead to a New England Championship Game victory in 2008.

Matt Williams recently joined the Cal Golden Bears in January 2011 after attending the North Dakota State College of Science for two years. At NDSCS, Williams was a two-year starter as an offensive lineman and earned second-team All-Midwest Football Conference selection as a sophomore in 2010. After ranking as the nation’s No. 13 junior college prospect and earning a four-star recruit status by Rivals, the coaches at UC Berkeley were happy to bring Williams onto their Cal Bear’s football roster.
