Matt Rios has been a strong addition to the Cal Bear’s football roster since he joined the team in 2008. In his first season, Rios was redshirted but has played in all 25 games in the following two Pac-12 football seasons. As a long snapper for the Cal Golden Bears, Matt Rios hopes to make his mark on the team for the 2011 Pac-12 football season.

At North Canyon HS in Phoenix, AZ, Matt Rios was rated as the No. 2 long snapper in the nation and earned Class 5A second-team All-State honors from the Arizona Republic.
