Jacob Wark is a returning member of the 2011 Cal Bear’s football roster. In his freshman season, Wark was granted a medical redshirt after suffering a season-ending injury early in the season.

Jacob Wark joined the Cal Bear’s football team in 2009 following his senior year at Jesuit High School in Portland, Oregon. At Jesuit HS, Wark was a highly ranked tight end by numerous organizations all over the country. In his senior season, Jacob Wark led his team to a 12-2 overall record, an appearance in the state title game and a second straight Metro League title, among numerous other achievements. Jacob Wark is an all around great athlete and has also been selected by the Atlanta Braves in thet 38th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft for his outstanding performance as a first baseman.
