Oregon-native and defensive back for the Cal Bear’s football team, Isaac Lapite, is back for the 2011 Pac-12 football season. Lapite redshirted as a freshman in order to build his abilities into the college level and is ready to see his hard work in action.

Lapite attended South Eugene High School before transferring to Sheldon High in his senior year. At Sheldon High, Lapite led his team to a state title. Over his four year high school football career, Isaac Lapite earned the defensive MVP award and All-Southwestern League honors. An interesting fact about Isaac Lapite is that he is a prince in the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria, which is the native land of his father. Lapite also comes from a very athletic family, with a cousin formerly in the in NBA.
