Darren Ervin is among the newest offensive line recruits for the UC Berkeley Golden Bears football team. Ervin joined the Cal Bears in early 2011 just in time for spring training.

Darren Ervin attended Lamar High School in Houston, Texas, where he perfected his football skills and was ranked a three-star recruit according to ESPN, Scout and Rivals.com. Ervin also earned first-team All-District 5A-20 and PrepStar All-Region honors as a senior, after leading his team to a 9-2 overall record and the All-District 5A-20 title.
