Dan Camporeale entered the 2009 Cal Bears football season as an unknown player with all the advantages that title brings: the chance to break out and impress the coaching staff of the Cal Bears football team. As a sophomore, Camporeale has been working hard to make a name for himself and prove he has what it takes to call himself a Golden Bear football player.

Dan Camporeale is from Lafayette, California and he graduated in 2009 from Acalanes High School. Though summer training with the Cal Bears will reveal if he sees playing time in 2009, Dan Camporeale is now a part of the strong team effort that landed the Cal Bears at a solid 2008 season and Emerald Bowl trip.
