Beau Sweeney was born on February 15, 1990 which brings him to the 2009 fall football season as a red-shirted freshmen. He grew up in Fresno, California and graduated from Clovis West High School.

With the standard high Rivals.com and Scout.com rankings under his belt, Beau Sweeney threw for 1,168 yards and completed 15 touchdowns during his high school senior season. Additionally, Beau Sweeney was instrumental in bringing the Golden Eagles to back-to-back Division I championship games.
