Alejandro Crosthwaite is entering his second year at UC Berkeley and is excited for the 2011 Pac-12 football season to be underway. Crosthwaite redshirted as a freshman with the Cal Bears football team and is eager to step into his spot as an offensive lineman.

Prior to his first season with the California Golden Bears, Crosthwaite had been named by Phil Steele as the nation’s No. 30 offensive lineman. Crosthwaite had also been ranked as a four-star recruit by ESPN, Scout, Tom Lemming and Rivals, as well as continuously earning a spot as one of the top 15 offensive players in the nation by numerous organizations.

At Cathedral Catholic High School in Rosarito Beach, Mexico, Alejandro Crosthwaite was invited to play in the Max Emfinger All-American Bowl, the Offensive-Defensive All-American Bowl and the Aloha Prep All-American Bowl. After leading his high school football team to the Division II state title with a 15-0 record, recruiters were practically knocking down Crosthwaite’s door.

With quick hands and an agile frame, Alejandro Crosthwaite is sure to bring the wow-factor to the offensive line this season. Buy your Cal Golden Bears football tickets today to see what Crosthwaite will bring to the game of football at UC Berkeley.
